Nutrisystem Day 24 - Gained Weight

And now, here are the details of my 24th day on NS...
What I Weighed Today: 200.5 lbs. (8am)
So even after a 1,200-calorie day yesterday and all that activity, I am still up a ½ pound. WHAT…..THE….F*CK???!! My appetite is jacked today, I really just want coffee and string cheese but I ate my other stuff. I am well aware that there are constant changes in the body that can cause this kind of fluctuation but that does not make it any easier to deal with. I want noticeable change, I want success, I want eating this sh*t to be worth it. I’ve surpassed my 5-pound goal for the month which is awesome but I want more.
I feel I deserve more for being tortured. I already started looking at the next plan. I’m thinking South Beach would be good because it gives you lots of food choices and you can cook for yourself. I can’t wait to be able to do my own thing. To be more in control of taste and texture will be incredible. To have real food will save my sanity. Real eggs, real seasonings, and food that goes in the refrigerator!! From what I understand it’s just another low-carb plan like Atkins or Zone. I checked out a list of their frozen entrées and it looks really good. They don’t have a delivery plan so I will have to pick up frozen entrées at the grocery store but no biggie to me as long as they taste good. I already eat pretty low carb with the exception of rice (sushi is my god). But I can let go of the rice for 28 days. I did it for this plan. Hell, I gave up taste and joy for 28 days for this plan.
What I Ate Today:
Breakfast: NS Golden French Toast, 1 oz. Low-Fat String Cheese, 5 cups Coffee w/16 tablespoons Sugar-Free Hazelnut Creamer – 450 calories
Lunch: NS Red Beans and Rice with Sausage, 4 oz. Low-Fat Lunch Meat – 382.5 calories
Snack: 1 Non-Fat Yogurt, 1 Apple – 135.1 calories
Dinner: NS Homestyle Beef with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, 1 pear – 351.5 calories
Dessert: Frozen Fruit Cup - Ruby Red Grapefruit – 120 calories
TOTAL CALORIES: 1439.1
Low-carb plans lean you out pretty quickly so I am excited to see if there will finally be some changes in my body. I just thought about how many times I’ve heard people lamenting the fact that they don’t see changes on the scale but their clothes fit better and they get compliments on looking better. I, of course, have the opposite problem. It’s those freakin’ demons. The same ones that are running the monologue in my head are the ones shrinking my body on some subcutaneous level that is so deep it can only be read on a scale. And right now it’s not even being read on the scale.

YUM! Still tasty. I ran out of the house with it wrapped in a napkin. No syrup needed.
* NS Red Beans and Rice with Sausage – 180 calories
YUM! Long on taste, short on portion. Really good, though.
* NS Homestyle Beef with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy – 220 calories
MEH. It was missing something but I can’t put my finger on it. Could have been salt but I put some on and it still wasn’t great. But it was filling and not disgusting.
