How Does It Work?
Fit Yummy Mummy is a 16 week fitness program that is less cardio based and more focused on weight resistance work. Whether working with dumbbell weights, kettle bell weights or your own body weight, you’ll use these tools to burn fat and build lean muscle. After you finish the 16 weeks, you can continue onto more advanced workout routines (videos provided) for no extra cost.
Holly, the name behind the brand, treats Fit Yummy Mummy as lifestyle, noting that the key to living like a “fit mummy” is by following daily actions.
Getting Started
Beginning the Fit Yummy Mummy starts with an extensive handbook, which requires you to do a few brain exercises that will mentally prepare your for the journey ahead. Holly encourages you to ask yourself what do you want to change about your body and why. She also advises you to set goals in these series of worksheets and strongly discourages skipping these steps as they’re central to success.
The Fit Yummy Mummy Handbook, is the main guidebook, with answers to most of your questions. Here Holly shares fitness information like why steady cardio is nowhere near as effective as cardio intervals, why cardio intervals are better for your joints, and how to execute intervals correctly.
In addition to sharing the secret to burning fat quickly, the handbook breaks down basic body weight exercises and fitness terms, such as supersets and provides a definition for each.
Finally, you’ll find workout routines for each week as well as bonus workouts, should you want to exceed your set goal.

The Necessary Equipment
You’ll have to buy some simple home workout equipment. You’ll need things like a yoga mat, a stability ball, dumbbells and kettle bells. All of these items can be found at stores like Target and Wal-Mart for much less than you’d find in sporting goods stores.
