Set the tone for the rest of your day

Exercise in the morning!


Exercise works wonders in the morning. If you knock out your workout early in the morning, you’ll carry a feeling of accomplishment and virtuousness with you all day.

Your healthy start sets the tone for the rest of the day, making you more likely to make other healthy choices. Research also shows that morning exercisers sleep better, and good sleep helps regulate the hormonal balance that helps control appetite.

Each night before you go to bed lay out your workout clothes and keep your sneakers near the bed to make the morning transition easier.

And give some thought to how you look at exercise.  Is that gym treadmill really a sadistic contraption from the Spanish Inquisition?  Or is it a magic elixir that will strengthen your heart and slim you down?  

It’s your choice.  Exercise can be either a “boring waste of time,” or a special time for you to lose yourself in your favorite music and forget the cares of the day.
