Whey Smoothie

I like to have a Whey Smoothie for breakfast most days.   It’s quick and easy to make (just like slim fast!). Blend together 1 cup skim milk with 1 scoop whey powder. If you’d like to add some fiber to your smoothie, add 1 rounded teaspoon of Psyllium powder (the same ingredient as in metamucil).  Add 1 to 3 teaspoons of ground flaxseed to help ward off cancer (see cancer.org for more info about flaxseed!)

This is only for phase 2 of South Beach, as milk is not allowed during phase 1.  You could mix it with water during phase 1, but it doesn’t taste very good, so I’d rather have the recommended eggs.
