The 5 Factor Diet is one that a long list of celebrities subscribe to. Trainer to the stars (and fitness guru), Harley Pastemak created a diet built around the “magic number” 5. The program is built around five essential weight loss elements--protein, complex carbs, fat, fiber and fluids. The pyramid requires dieters to eat four servings of fruit and vegetables, three servings of lean protein, two servings of whole grains and one “extra.” Along with the healthy eating plan the diet requires a considerable amount of intense exercise. The Biggest Loser Diet is said to not only result in weight loss, but it’s will lower cholesterol and leave you more energized.

Like many diets, the Best Life Diet, created by Oprah’s trainer, Bob Greene, is a regimen designed around healthy eating and physical activity. Bob, who’s an exercise physiologist provides a user-friendly plan that will yield long term results, not just a temporary weight loss. The diet is fashioned around gradual changes and realistic calorie levels, not drastic measures. The more active the dieter is, the more calories they’re allowed to consume. Dieters are allowed to splurge, but be mindful of what they’re eating. The entire diet is filled with recipes, tips and tools to keep motivation high.

Celebrity trainer, Jackie Warner teaches dieters that the key to weight loss is not about eating less, but eating properly. Her plan involves sticking to a healthy eating plan Monday through Friday and incorporating a rigorous exercise routine. Come the weekend, you are free to enjoy “cheat day,” where dieters can consumer up to 1,500 calories in a single meal. The plan is said to result in a 4 to 6 pound weight loss per month.
